La storia della fotografia sta tutta nel momento colto al volo, in quello che amo chiamare SNAP…uno schiocco delle ditta…uno scatto.
Quando è fatta bene, la fotografia è piuttosto interessante, e quando è fatta molto bene è irrazionale e persino magica. Non ha nulla a che vedere con la volontà o il desiderio cosciente del fotografo. Quando la fotografia accade, succede senza sforzo, come un dono che non va interrogato, nè analizzato.
